Why learn Japanese

I went to Japan on July last year and visited two cities, yamagata and Tokyo. Unique Japanese culture has attracted me. Besides, I love watching Japanese cartoons, especially Slam Dunk. These are two initial reasons why I choose to study Japanese. Every time I learn new vocabulary, grammar and dialogues, I feel really excited. I hope I can talk with local people in Japanese the next time I visit Japan.

  3. Hello, my name is Ayaka from Ritsumeikan University. Slam Dunk! I know that cartoon too. It is a very popular cartoon in Japan. How come did you start to watch Japanese cartoons? And I think that’s an really nice idea, because if you talk to Japanese local people, then you can see the Japanese culture more by listening their story. If you have any question about Japan, then ask me anytime as well!

    1. あやかさん はじめまして。When I was a child, I started watching Japanese cartoons and I've watched so many, such as detective conan, sailor moon, soccer boy and so on, but my favorite one is slam dunk, and I've watched it again and again. Besides, I really want to talk to local people to know about their stories and hope I can watch cartoons without subtitle.
